I love Elinor Lipman's books and I've read all of them.
This is the one that I re-read every year at around this time.
I don't know why I love it so, I just do. Maybe it's because the couple in it love each other so much.
Anyway, if you haven't read Elinor Lipman's books, I recommend them highly. They will never be mistaken for great literature but they are like cornbread - warm and easy and satisfying.
