My dream rug has arrived!
This is what I've wanted in my kitchen for as long as I've had this kitchen - but I've never been able to find one in captivity!
But my happy place, Crate and Barrel, has come through for me again!
It's the Olin rug.

Love! You're aware Ikea has had a striped rug like that for about 2 years, right?!
ReplyDeleteThe Ikea rug does not actually exist in captivity... only in theory. I have tried to find one in the store and/or the website for a year. I had given up.
ReplyDeleteI'm considering buying this rug to place underneath my dining table. My concern is that the rug might bunch up every time I move my chair- even with a rug pad. Was just wondering if you have found that to be an issue? Looks like you have it in a well-trafficked area.
ReplyDeleteIts pretty sturdy and stiff and I think you should be OK with a good rug pad underneath. Mine really only bunches up when I vacuum it and even that isn't too bad. It takes a little while for it to relax after you unfold it, though, so you may need to work with it for a few days.
