Happy Monday

Hi!  I hope everyone had a great weekend!

I enjoyed my family and the Jake very much and my soon to be new nephew, whose name is Liam, has been outfitted with a proper nursery outfit from Pottery Barn Kids. 

Sunday I didn't feel good and woke up with a stomach ache sometime in the night and was squicky for most of the day.  Around 3 I went to get my toes done and am happy to report they are now presentable. 

I have court today (every Monday's business, I suppose) and then a blessedly appointment free week.  I am getting a facial tonight (YAY!) and I can't wait.  I am blessed with the most incredible facialist (and dear and darling friend) and seeing her is always a quadruple treat of happy for me.  And it is very good that I'm seeing her because I am having head shots taken on Friday. 

I know that some people enjoy having their pictures taken but I rank it right up there with trying on bathing suits and root canal.  I am determined to take a decent picture, though and the photographer is going to do my makeup which also makes me happy.  I need a head shot for work (more later) and she's going to do some fun shots, too, and I hope some of them will turn up on the blog.
