Happy Friday!

Hey!

I want to thank everyone who's stopped by this week and especially those of you who've left comments.  You have no idea how happy it makes me!

My darling sister is getting married this weekend!  So I'll be off doing wedding things and having a great time at the reception.  I'm looking forward to seeing my family and spending some time in the mountains.

Finn and Lola will be hanging out with Aunt Julie and Uncle Chris.    I feel that they will all come around to Lola's way of thinking before it's over with.   She has a talent for imposing her considerable will on everyone, but in a very charming way.  It's one of the reasons she's so good at getting away with murder.

Aunt Julie is an excellent example of the power of the Beans.  She doesn't like dogs.  Finn and Lola have worn. her. down.  Now she sits in the floor with them so they can smooch her more easily.  She has crumbled in the face of their overwhelming desire to love her.  

Finn, for his part, will be in little boy heaven.  Finn LOVES Chris.  They drink beer and watch sports together.   Or, you know, Chris drinks the beer while Finn sits beside him looking cool.   Although I'm sure Finn would drink the beer if given half a chance.  He's a little booze hound and has swiped slurps of wine without permission from time to time.  You know, you sit your wine glass down and turn away for a moment and when you turn back there is a corgi snoot down in there, just going to town.

Wait a minute... where was I?

Oh, yeah...it's Friday!

So have a great weekend.  Sleep late.  Go to the farmer's market and buy organic.  Have some really good coffee.  See a movie or two....
