Happy Friday!

Hi, everyone.

I you all have a happy and safe holiday weekend.  I am doing a both a lot and nothing this weekend.

First off, my baby brother is getting married today!  It is a small family affair and it's what they wanted.

Then I really have no plans for the rest of the (blessedly) long weekend.   I'm going to hang out with some friends and Bar-B-Cue on Saturday and maybe play a little croquet (if I can successfully remember how) and then I will need to come home and sit with my nervous little Beans who hate the fireworks that the rest of the world so loves.  I have secured some sedatives from the vet, so I am hoping it won't be as upsetting for them as it has been.

At some point this weekend, I'm going to try and plant some flowers.  This is a yearly attempt.  It usually doesn't work out too well, but I feel very optimistic this year. 

And on Monday, I'm going with my darling friend to check out a new (to us) antique mall.  88,000 square feet of possibilities!  Makes me a little dizzy just thinking about it.  Golly Pete!  I LOVE a good antique mall!

So take care this weekend.  Do something fun!  I don't think I've told y'all how much I love the 4th of July!  I love it!   I love that we all take a day, in the middle of the summer, cook out, play frisbee and set off fireworks!  It's my second favorite holiday, next to Easter.  Have a couple of hotdogs.
