Joe Jackson

My best friend is a big fan of 80's music.  Much more so than I am.

So when she burned this CD for me a few years ago, I was polite but unexcited.

A while after that, I decided to listen to it while I cleaned the house, just so that when she asked me if I had listened to it, I could say "yes".

I didn't plan to like it.  I certainly didn't plan to fall in love with it.

I suppose if I were a true fan, I would love Joe Jackson songs that do not appear on his "Greatest Hits" album.

But I do love this.  Truly.  Deeply.

I listened to it last weekend while I made cookies and I fell in love all over again.
